BACKCOURT is a magazine that brings together my passion for basketball and my experience as a student manager. This issue is dedicated entirely to Georgetown basketball, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the team, the culture, and the game beyond what fans usually see. From features on player style and game-worn shoes to stories that highlight the hard work happening off the court, this project allowed me to merge design, storytelling, and my firsthand connection to the team into one cohesive publication.

As the only female manager for Georgetown Men’s Basketball, I wanted this issue to reflect the unique perspective I have from being inside the program. The magazine celebrates not just the players and the game, but also the small, often overlooked details that make up team life — from daily routines to personal style and the energy in the gym on game day. By combining photography, design, and narrative, this issue of BACKCOURT captures the spirit of the team and gives readers a closer connection to the people behind the game. This project is both a creative expression and a love letter to a role and team that have shaped my college experience.
